Philippe Meunier

Born in the Saint Lawrence Valley, his guitar has taken him to Spain & across Canada. Whether promoting The Barber of Seville & Don Giovanni for the Manitoba Opera or opening for the Picasso exhibition, accompanying Flamenco Dancers or playing solo, he shares his love for Spanish Music wherever life takes him.  

After being awarded a wide range of grants by the Canada Arts Council, the Manitoba Arts Council & the Winnipeg Arts Council, he came back from Spain with several original compositions. Philippe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Laval University and he is currently a member of Folklorama.
